podcast I did a while back about what to expect from Phase 2 of Project: Archives, this is a good example of what I was talking about when I mentioned that some tracks would be Archives related, but not quite taken from the Archives directly. “Over the Garden Wall” was under consideration for inclusion on the album very late in the recording stages, and I simply decided that there were plenty of tracks already on the album – I didn’t need yet another one. I began to regret that decision a little as I started playing this one live, as it’s a really fun, energetic little romp of a story that would have easily made the cut under different circumstances.
